Where It All Began ...

In 1983 at a time when Darby Street Cooks Hill was just beginning to be known as a place you could meet family and friends for a meal, a new Italian restaurant called Emilio’s opened its doors to the public.

The late Emilio and Barbara Falcon were the proud owners of Emilio’s and along with their 3 children Carlo, Caterina, and Angelina they established a restaurant with a reputation for great food and atmosphere.

All of the ingredients we use here at Emilio's Italian are traditional Italian. We stock our restaurant kitchen in much the same way that we stock our home kitchen, with daily deliveries of fresh ingredients that we select ourselves.

In addition to our menu items, we also offer daily specials inspired by seasonal ingredients, the weather and how we are feeling. We are always on the lookout for new sources of ideas and inspiration.

For many years Emilio’s was renowned for its traditional homestyle Italian cooking including homemade pasta and pizzas.

This was served in the warm and friendly dining area where the guests would feel like family. The family home is still in this beautiful suburb of Warners Bay after 54 years.

Therefore, it makes sense to recreate that same delicious homestyle Italian cooking in a warm friendly atmosphere in a suburb well known as a place to meet family and friends for a meal.
